About
I build AI systems that enhance critical decision-making and improve human-AI collaboration. Detecting disease before it happens, predicting climate events, and making roads safer by enabling autonomous vehicle intuition. My goal is to create impact in high-stakes, critical domains.
My research is advised by Dr. Chaowei Xiao (UW-Madison, NVIDIA) and Xiaogeng Liu (UW-Madison, NVIDIA), where we investigate foundation model safety, specifically in applications of healthcare and autonomous/robotic vehicle intuition.
Outside of work and school, I'm an avid snowboarder, traveler, and semi-professional photographer, and have recently taken up golf. I also enjoy learning languages; in addition to English and Mandarin, I speak French, Korean, and Japanese with varying proficiency.
